Dr. Prriya Eshpuniyani is a Consultant Thoracic Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist at ACI Cumballa Hill Hospital, Apollo Hospital, Fortis Hirandani Hospital,Vashi, P.D. Hinduja, Khar & various other tertiary care centers. She has completed her Fellowship of Surgical Oncology from Tata Medical Center, Kolkata, and followed it up with a Super Specialty in Thoracic Surgery (DrNB), being the first batch of the country from RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata.
She completed her General Surgery training in 2006 and since then she gained experience in various well-known centers like KEM Hospital and Tata Memorial Hospital before pursuing her higher education. She has been extensively trained in GI Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, and Breast Surgery and has been practicing these super specialties since 2011. She joined the prestigious Asian Cancer Institute, a leading oncology center in 2017 and has been associated with it since. She has been further trained for uniportal VATS ( Thoracoscopic) at Shanghai pulmonary hospital, that caters to more than 120 lung surgeries in a day. She is also certified for CMR Versius robotic system and was part of the team that performed the first robotic thymectomy with this system in the world. She is highly trained and skilled in all open , thoracoscopic (key hole) and robotic surgeries of the thorax – including lung, esophagus, mediastinum and chest wall. She offers surgical services for all benign (non onco) and malignant thoracic conditions, GI cancers and breast pathologies. She also has a large experience in complicated sleeve resections for trachea-bronchial lesions. Since then she has been attached at many prestigious hospitals like ACI and Apollo hospital and also at Charity hospitals to give the best to non affording patients.
